In the Heart of Beirut


 

There still are a few spots in Beirut where you can play down the concrete and feel, albeit for a short while, like you were writing poetry sipping on sunset wine, on the shoulder of heaven, at the edge of the "vallee de Lamartine".

i was asking this bcz there are 11 lebanese houses looking like that in the huvelin street, the land is to be sold and they ll be destroyed

I love those old houses....too bad so many are going away to be replaced by sleek apartments..
