Some microbiologists go as far as to say that homo sapein sapien cannot destroy life even if we want to Microorganisms will always find a way to adapt and survive.
The flip side of your lovely shot is the demonstration that physical environments are also essential for growth, maturity and attaining potential. The physical limits rsestrain that bush/troo from getting to be asay a 30 foot specimen.

I like the theme.
The perspective and the point of view are quite nice and interesting: they put the little plant "en relief".
A little bit more contrast would have made the photo even more imposing.
The negative space is what I dont quite appreciate, especially at the upper left -it is too small. As if it's there and not there at the same time.
