for nothing? maybe, if your life is an exercise in futility, if you're only waiting to die. Persistence is its own reason to exist, a self sustaining function that feeds only on itself. The alternative is letting go, and to me, that's just infinitely stupid.
Other interpretations; bodies are stranded, minds are free; finding liberation through productivity and work etc.
Love the concept, keep them coming :)
