i once saw this building with a huge, bushy, heart-shaped weed growing on it sorta like that. I sadly didn't have my camera on me, but that building is now and forever known as the "french quarter" ;)
actually i think i know this building (Spears?), it looks quite charming when it's green.

you know, one sees places like that everywhere in Damascus, all be it perhaps a bit older, as well, and really they have great potential once done up and restored to their original glamour so to speak..it's a shame they are left to rot.
