Fouad,
Did you add the photograph of the flowers to your house and tree painting? They seem to have 2 different finishes. The background look like a painting while the greenary at the front and flowers look like a real picture?

on all cases, well done and really beautiful ;)

first look... a picture but where is that?
then... oh my god..a painting.. wow!!
then, like around the clock said, i thought the flowers might be a different finish than the background in the painting but then noticed the trees which have the same composition...

it's just breathtaking. the details on the flowers are just breathtaking..also in the flowers, you can't even tell it's a watercolor anymore..
very well done.

The sky looks like you're inside a vegas casino or a dubai mall.I'm sorry about the comparison :) but when you're inside that mall or that casino, the make believe sky they have seems so real. Your painting is so real. And that's a wonderful thing. How long did that take you to finish?

Thanks guys, and interesting observations... I never thought that the foreground flowers looked stylistically different or more realistic than the rest of the painting. I actually believed otherwise, that they were not as natural and not as carefully executed. Anyhow, I am always amazed on how perception differs so dramatically from one person to the next.

mar, I couldn't give you an exact figure, only because I did it over the span of three months, working on and off on weekends. I would think though that a few days of continuous work, maybe 5 hours a day, would do it. It measures 70 x 50 cm by the way in case you were wondering.
