A Break From the Old Routine... Folon
An artist I only recently discovered thanks to Boyd, Folon's work is one simple yet dauntingly beautiful poem about who we are, where we are, and the poetic absurdity of our human condition. As good as they get.
I would relate this piece to our country, our government, and our situation. The umbrella is Syria. The stick is our government. The person is us, the electorate.
Why the hell did I just tarnish a beautiful piece of art?
