When all is far, and all is empty, I set sail and dock on a familiar shore, somewhere in my imagination

The Garbage Side
The garbage side of Lebanon. One that will not make me love it less, but love it even more. For this is the time to make things better, when things are rotten. Not when they're impeccable and clean.
This is the time to prove we are worthy of the legacy our forefathers left us. Once upon a time there were people who believed in their country so much they were ready to die for it. Kudos to all the martyrs who have fallen since that fateful May 6, 1916. Kudos to the fathers of our first independence in 1943. Kudos to people like you ya Fouad who have FAITH and HOPE in that piece of heaven on earth.
It's hard to admit to myself, but sometimes life seems like garbage. Fortunately these times alternate with good feelings. And I cannot deny that the rotten side of the world makes me scared and fragile. I am sad today.

Tomorrow will be better. That's the way it goes..
